In 1996, Olympic Village hair salon gave her the big chance to be their sharpener and that eventually led to the expansion of Bonika Shears. Actually, Bonika Shears now has many distributors in 7 countries and in more than 34 states within the country.

Despite that, Bonnie Megowan remains hands-on when it comes to the business and it’s most likely that she will be – or Thomi, her daughter – answering the phone just in case you called to make an order. On the other hand, Mystie Hunter, her eldest daughter is now the vide president who oversees the day-to-day operations of Bonika Shears. As you can see, Bonnie continues to get involved in her business and have even included some of her family members.
